She’s here! Local artists Little Brummie and Art Brat Comics have teamed up to bring you this gorgeous new rug. Mollie Cronin, of Art Brat Comics, is a K’jipuktuk / Halifax based illustrator and cartoonist. Victoria Brumwell, of Little Brummie, has long been a fan of Mollie’s work, and knew that it would translate well as a tufted piece.

“Big Red” - this big, red, tatted babe - is a character Mollie has returned to in various forms since first drawing her in 2017. This recent manifestation was designed specifically with tufting in mind, and will be just as much at home on your floor as on your wall!

• Tufted with soft acrylic yarn. Sturdy felt backing. Edges are sewn down with industrial sewing machine.

• Approximately 23” wide x 34” long.

• Hand made in Halifax, NS, Canada.

• Rug will be hand made to order and may vary slightly from photos. 3 Big Red rugs will be available initially.

• After Care: Do not machine wash. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Spot clean only with natural soap and cold water. Simply brush with hand or vacuum. Not to be used as a bath mat or door mat. Some shedding of fibres is normal.

Product will be made to order. Each rug is made by hand from start to finish. Expect 3 - 6 weeks for production and shipping, not including weekends or holidays. Currently shipping within Canada and to the US. You will receive an email confirmation when your order has shipped!
